I put the boys to bed the other night- this is what the result was. Don't get me wrong, I love my two sweet boys snuggled up close to me, but I am a little worried about the baby coming and poor little Zach will be booted out of being the baby. He is obsessed with my belly. He has been since he was a baby. That is why he is asleep on it! So he starts out in his own room and then migrates into our room around 12 to sleep with me. I don't know what I am going to do when I have a nursing baby too. When I got pregnant I thought Zach would be well out of our room and it would be just fine once the baby comes- only 4 weeks to go before I have the baby and I still have a little Zachy in bed with me. It is hard because I like him in bed with us. We are trying to talk to him and tell him he needs to stay in his own bed all night but I don't think anything sinks into his brain. I just don't want him to have a hard reality check when I can't be there for him how I have been. I was worried about David when Zach was born and he did fine so I just need to remember that it will work out and Zach will just have to grow up- I can totally see me with my last child and babying them way too much! I don't want them to grow up and I like to baby my kids! Luckily, Rod is a great help and will be there to help with the transition.

Snuggle Time

OH we have had the same problem! Baden liked to rub my neck, back, hold my hand..I didn't know what I was going to do! We tried and tried, but he never gave up!! He still comes in our bed at night. Sometimes Caleb takes him back, but it is so hard when they love it and you love it and they sleep so good! I wish you luck with it! As for me Baden did great when I had Braylen..and I thought it would be hard! Anyway good luck and enjoy every minute, because you know one day we will blink and they will not even want to hug us in public! LOL Take care!
I wouldn't worry too much about things. I was really worried about having three kids as well...but I think when you have three you just make it work because it HAS too. I was worried that changing things when the baby got here, it would make Lauren really resentful of the baby. But I found that once the baby was here and I could explain to her that "I couldn't do something" because I was helping the "baby," she really understood a lot better because she could actually SEE the baby and realize that she was a "big girl." anyways, that's what worked for me...hope that helps! :)
When you find the solution, let me know. Caleb is doing the exact same thing and I am worried too that he will feel rejected when the new one gets here...at least I have a few MONTHS left.
I think your family picture should be in a magazine. You guys are so dang cute. Good luck with the baby three boys how fun!!!
Oh my poor Amy. That picture is too funny. I don't have any advice, but you are such a great mommy that I know you will get it figured out. Maybe when the baby is sleeping you could cuddle with Zach like crazy and let him play with your belly to his heart's content?? Good luck, and I can't wait to meet little junior!
Your boys are so cute! It's always hard when there is a new addition. I'm always hoping that I am giving Lily the attention that she needs although I don't feel like I am because I am constantly feeding the baby.
I'm going to be in poky a lot in may so I'm sure we will be there the same time. We definitely need to get together. Too bad we don't live closer because our kids are close in age. They could be buddies!
I have the same fear when I get prego again. It is so hard to see your kiddos struggle, even a little, but I know it will all be just fine for you. Something will work out so you can handle it just fine.
I know everyone has kind of said the same thing, but I have 3 little girls and my 2nd was a TOTAL baby and was also still sleeping in my bed when the 3rd came along. It all worked out. I still had Nessa in bed with me as well as a newborn baby. I usually just tried to keep one on each side of me, because I wasn't sure whether Nessa would roll over a smoosh Sami. Sometimes it even took rearranging ourselves in the bed so that I could nurse on one side or the other but it worked. Good luck with it. I am sure all will be fine. You...and everyone else..are right, it just kinda fixes itself somehow. Now...if I were to have another...? I don't have that many sides. Or that much room in our bed! :)
You're such a cute mom! One good thing about being the last to have babies is that all my friends can give me good advice. So when I'm in that dilema I'll know who to call :)
I need to see some pics of the new babe!
