Tornado

Okay, Rod said it wasn't a tornado but it looked like one!! I looked out the window and the whole sky was red and the wind was blowing like crazy and my swing, yes that is my swing covered in those tumble weeds, was blown 2 houses down. It was pretty cool to watch because it only lasted a couple minutes and then the wind wasn't strong anymore. Now there are a million little pricklys all over our front yard and they kill when you step on them. My nice neighbor brought the swing back, don't ask me how she didn't get poked like crazy!! Anyway, our poor swing did go back together, but the prickleys will be there for a while!

David's Diego Birthday Party

David turned four years old on April 9, 2008. I can't believe he is already 4!! He loves Diego so we decided to do a little Diego party for him.

They were entertained forever by this little water fountain- don't you just love kids!

I had everyone line up to take a picture before the games.

Some cute shots of some of David's friends/cousins that were there.

I tried (tried is the key word) teaching them red rover and Rachel ran full speed and plowed Trisha to the ground. It was hilarious other than it hurt Trisha's feelings. That ended the game and we quickly moved onto cake and ice cream.

I thought this was so cute- Zach is helping Grandpa Broadhead carry the scooter over for one of David's presents. Grandpa Broadhead is such a great grandpa- Zach followed him all over the park. Grandpa helped me and followed him too:)

David loved his new spiderman scooter and his other presents too.

Then we all went down to the river the kids were dying to go to the whole time we were there. It was a perfect day- We gave them little water bottles with eyes on them for dolphins and they had to be Diego and save the dolphins. The kids loved playing in the water! I don't know if their parents did:)

Then they laid on the cement to warm up. It was a fun birthday and I am grateful for the people who came and missed the people who couldn't be there.

Idaho Trip to Snow!

I can't believe it is snowing in Idaho since we are in sunshine! It is fun for the kids to play in the snow and good ole' uncle Ben is such a fun uncle , him and David were building an igloo right outside of the house. Ben is a great uncle to the grandkids and Holly and I and the kids are really grateful for him. We went to Island Park to the Fisher cabin. My Grandpa Fisher looked so cute I had to take a picture of him. I love him so much. I have so many fun memories at the cabin and it is neat to watch my boys create fun memories now.

David insisted on wearing this big yellow helmet. He would almost fall when he would walk because it was so awkwardly big.

Zach loves to be pulled on anything- so he was in heaven having David pull him around.

Rod, Ben, David, and I made our snow family- Ben started making him to be in our family too.

Once again, Uncle Ben was being a fun Uncle and was digging a tunnel for them to get into.

Zach refused to wear gloves or mittens he would ditch them before I knew it. My mom is cold when it is 110 degrees so she was extra worried about Zach and his hands. I finally put some of Rod's socks on his hands and then his coat so he couldn't take them off. We had a blast at the cabin. You couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to snowmobile and play in the snow.

Easter

Being the mean parents Rod and I are, we made the boys sit on Easter bunny's lap even though they didn't want to! Rod got caught on camera! I thought it made a great picture!!

Saturday before easter, Rod's mom does an easter egg hunt in the park. It is really cute and we are glad her and Grandpa Cowgill do it for us. The kids had a great time. This picture is Grandpa Cowgill telling the kids the true meaning of easter before they went out to look for them.

And then the hunting begins. David was so excited.

Aunt Lindsey helped Zach find some eggs for his basket.

Not very often does Zach get chocolate chip muffins for breakfast! He was in heaven!

David and cousin Rachel were so excited to show eachother their treasures.

The highland park by our house is so much fun. (David calls it the T-Rex park because it has a little t-rex you can sit on). So we spent the rest of the morning playing on the toys.
Dad and Zach were making mom a little nervous. Zach thought it was a blast!

This is Easter morning with their baskets. We got them some sand toys, some watercolors, and the bee movie. They loved having candy for breakfast. And being Debbie Fisher's daughter I also had ritz cheese crackers and peanuts and juice boxes. My favorites growing up. Rod was laughing about it when the kids would open the egg and out popped peanuts instead of candy!! They thought it was great- and they didn't have a belly ache for the day!!
